Cultural Competence Committee: Project goal to develop a cultural competence website to provide faculty, staff, and students cultural competence, diversity, and social justice resource information, materials, and tools that could be incorporated into programming, teaching, research, service, and general work. An advisory group met during the summer of 2009 to map out content ideas to be considered for a cultural competence website; including defining cultural competence. The Office of Equal Opportunity & Diversity offered to host the cultural competence website during the developmental phase. The new site is in the final stages of revision and we hope to launch it during the 2011-2012 academic year.
